- 2011 KUBOTA L3200 W/ LOADER, BH77 BACKHOE
O.K.....so I went to my local Kubota dealer to get my air filter, oil filter and hydraulic filter for the 400 to 500 hour servicing of my L3200 and the parts guy asked me "do you want the inner and outter air filter....or just the outter?" I looked at him as if he had just taken a hit of crack cocaine and told him I didn't know there were two. He said "yes...it shows two filters on your tractor". I told him mine only came with 1 air filter. He told me that the inner filter slips inside the outter filter, so I ended up buying both. Back at home, I took my old air filter off and compared it to the new filter. They were the same. I then took the new inner filter and slipped it inside the new outter filter and it fit like a glove, however it was tricky getting the two of them into the housing and putting the end cover back on, but after some wiggling...it fit. My question is this........did I just buy an unnecessary second filter? My L3200 did not come with two, only one. Now it has two and I feel like I was just duped!!!!:confused2:
