I probably shouldn't have mentioned it sorry its not for everyone use at your own risk I could have said. My code comment was tongue in cheek.

It isn't a decision I made w/o knowing the risks folks it isn't done shabbily either I dont operate that way.

Its clamped to steel girders and is run 8' up from the floor and there is no chance of flex anywhere. I also have black pipe risers that connect to my hoses and they are solidly mounted to the walls.

And no the general public is not allowed in the shop they are stopped at the front office and I am the only employee these days.

For the OP.

Look up some air piping systems on google and think about installing a distribution with outlets where require.:thumbsup:

In the last few years some acceptable plastic pipe has arrived.

It's been awhile... the building department had no problem running a PVC 60 lb line under a concrete parking lot as long as all the PVC was buried as per manufacturer instructions.

Over 20 years without incidence.

Since then, OSHA has stepped in...

Used Pex and seems to work well.
