Love this app, in spite of shortcomings. Wish it linked to icloud to share between devices. Would be worth the upgrade price. 
I used it to mark off a couple plots I licensed to farmers. Walked it off, then adjusted the points to match the map landmarks and used the calculated area. Annotated the PDF version to reflect areas of concern. Attached a printed copy to the license.
