I bought a used Agrifab Mow-n-vac tow behind vacuum for picking up the leaves in our lawn. It's been on my wish list of toys......er equipment, but couldn't justify the cost of a new one with SWMBO. Got a great deal, some use and wear on it, but nonetheless, it will be a welcome addition to cleaning up the huge amount of oak leaves that fall. I've downloaded a copy of the user manual, but I can't find out how long the hose is supposed to be. It's not mentioned if it gets trimmed to length or what. The hose is upwards of 6 foot long. I know it needs to be long enough for turning, but as long as it is, it is too long to attach to the deck. It will kink up, or require a loop to attach at both ends. My mower is a John Deere 100 series. Got any suggestions (about the lawn vac hose.....:D)

Thanks, Mark

I have the same vac. Just trim the hose to your mower. Make sure you have enough
slack for turning.

Good Afternoon Everyone,
Sorry I cannot respond to the post; I have more questions.
I'm reading the posts on the Agrifab Mow-N-Vac and it looks interesting; I would attach it to my X540 John Deere (54inches deck); it is being sold for 1299$ at Home Depot.
I'm also looking at the Cub Cadet Mow-N-Vac that is being sold for 1699$.
Any advise about those two vacs; is the Cub Cadet reputation worth 400$ more than the Agrifab???
Thanks a lot,
Geold
