Agracat Bankrupt?

Rumored at CTOA. Can anyone confirm or deny this? Maybe JerryG? The dealer listing is not accessable on their website anymore.

I don't think so, but it has been a while seen I have spoken with any of them. I wouldn't think so, because the last time that I went by there they were talking about building a new warehouse and assembly facility.

I've recently become an Agracat dealer and have lots to learn! This name has been said to be a relabeled Jimna, but the tractor I sell is a Korean mfg'd. by LG, and are being promoted/warehoused by J.B. Hunt (trucking company in Arkansas). Do you find any other info. to support/deny this? The agracat.com website has been down the last few times I've checked it, but my territory manager says that a new site is coming shortly.

Do you have any other information about the JB Hunt side of this? I don't want to dispute you, but I find it very very hard to believe that JB or his X-SIL would have anything to do with such a venture.

I don't have any more information than what my territory manager said. Apparantly, my TM, and other TM's met with JB and the ex-daughter- (or sister-) in-law last Mon. or Tues., and then I saw him at a farm show where we were displaying one of the tractors 4940LX. The TM's pitch is that JB has the most tractors in stock of any??? company now and has another 1000 on the water headed this way.

I believe that the Korean tractor, is something Agracat has added in the last year. Prior to that it was just the Jinma. Good luck with your dealership.
