Agco/Allis 1717 H

I bought the mower in 1998 (new). Good service for those years. Sound engine (liquid Kawasaki) and tranny. I got the urge to get a new one but later decided that a thorough going-over by the dealer would make more sense. What do you think?? I am new here from N/W Wisconsin. Anyone here have any experience with these?? Thanks

I would talk to the dealer as to how much he wants to review the 1717H. He should be be able to review what he recommends and how much to bring the tractor up to snuff. What you did not say if there is anything wrong currently with it. What is prompting replacing it?
I have a '97 1616H w/ ~500 hrs (16 hp air cooled B&S) and the mowing deck is getting beat up, but still mows decent.
