If you ever find out who is filing the false reports, I suggest you not call them personally in case Florida has some type of penalties for harassment calls.

You'd think animal control would get fed up with these nuisance calls and start asking the person making the calls to identify themselves. There are penalties for making false police reports that most likely apply to these false calls.

Give the complainer enough rope, and sooner or later the complainer will hang herself.

This whole thing is really sad. Someone that has nothing better to do than harass a neighbor and the county that is forced to respond. The county has become the enabler. And you are helpless and in full compliance. It's just a sad state of affairs.

It seems the folks with no job are the ones that tend to poke their nose into things they know nothing about. Must be the urge to justify their existence by being the neighborhood police.

Tack copies of the previous open and shut cases in a weather tight bag and mount it to the spot where the red notice appears. Label it "Animal Control Officer".

It's even possible that someone has called and they are not responding or driving by and seeing that all is good.

so far that I know, every time animal control has come out.. they have called me. of course i'm not there but a few hours a day.. so they could be driving by when i'm not there.. etc..
