Howdy all.

Does anybody know where I can get a decent / cheap aftermarket seat for a DK45? I'm looking for a drop in replacement that does not need modified.

Thanks

Not sure of your definition of cheap or modification is, but Northern Tool has replacement seats. Just do a search on tractor seats.

Hi Sandlot,

Thanks for the reply.
I am looking for something in the $100 +/- range. I have looked at Northern Tool and Tractor Supply but none show the mount.
I wanted to be able to take the old seat out and put the new seat in without having to do any mods to the new seat or the current mounting configuration.

I was hoping that someone else might have replaced their seat and could point me to a part # on N. Tool or somewhere else.

Thanks

I am about to find out as my DK 35 seat has split open and the mounting hardware (bottom of seat metal plate and the two bolts holding it to hinge) are rusted off and I need to install a new seat. TSC, here I come.

Well, I have "installed" my new tractor seat from TSC. Despite the term "universal" fit, it is not. The new bottom plate at front can be drilled to use threaded acnchor bolt holes on tractor body beneath the seat (pan ?) but not the rear ones as the universal plate is much too narrow for the rear anchor bolts in the pan. I will need to reconfigure the old seat's bolt down plate to align with new seat bottom plate. Annoying but.....

Best of luck with your problem.

Thanks Avondale.

I bought a "close" match from Tractor Supply (just happened to be going by the other day). Now I have to get the rusted bolts out of the old seat and make a bracket that will fit the new seat. I guess I should have just called a Kioti dealer and ordered a new seat! :confused2:

Thanks for the replies.
