Aftermarket seat for M9540?

Looking for a new seat for M9540. Seat cushion has fallen apart. It is open Rops so it needs to be vinyl. Messicks wants $1400+ for new seat or about $400+ for a new lower cushion and same for he seat back cushion.

Any ideas on best aftermarket seat that fits this tractor? I don't mind paying for a really good one, just think Kubota wants a little much for theirs.

Good question.

I've read a couple threads about installing "air" seats. So surely the mounting pattern is something standard?? Hopefully someone will chime in with a solution. My 9540 sleeps in a machine shed so my seat is still in really good shape. I'd certainly not pay $400 for a new lower pad.....

Maybe try an upholstery shop that does automobile seats?

Perhaps they can repair your old seat.

According to the dimensions of old covers, local furniture upholstery shop sewed for me the new lower and back cushion vinyl covers. It's very easy to replace them by yourself. It costed me about $10.

I ended up getting a seat from. Nick at toughseats.com who gave me a great deal on seat. I took the old one off and put new suspension seat on top of old suspension. The seat is a Grammer MSG65. It barely mounted on the old suspension but it did and is very comfortable.
