Aftermarket Oil Filter for L4701

Doing my first 50hr service soon, but can't seem to find ANY information on which oil filter to use. Manual says use Genuine Kubota Parts, gee thanks. There's not even a number on the filter, just grey casing. Any help would be appreciated. Would also like opinion on filter brand to use if you've found a match that's not Kubota OEM.

Check your owners manual. The part number to get you started is probably there. Once you have one part number you can do cross reference searches that will give you the part numbers for tons of other brands that will work.
If not listed somewhere in the manual...... and if a search on the specific engine won't provide a starting point you may have to buy "1" at the dealer to get the number.

Messick's lists a # HH164-32430 for the L4701. Doing a Google on the part number will give you Fram, Purolater, Wix, Luber-finer & many more.
