Aftermarket hydraulic control valves

I'm looking for an aftermarket hydraulic control valve I can add to my Kubota L3240. Kubota wants $1400 plus install for the control valve (2) alone. I have to believe there are quality control valves available after market that will work comparably.

Any recommendations?

Just curious as to whether your tractor has a cab or not..... as this will determine what I would recommend.

Do you plan on doing the install yourself?

No cab. Yes, I was planning on doing the install myself. There are no dealers within 100 miles of my location so it's pretty hard to get support. I checked surpluscenter.com and bareco.com as previously recommended. I have a note into them to see if they have a control valve that fits my tractor. Not sure what the issue is with the L3240 but none of the control valves appear to be recommended for that model.

You won't find a recommendation for a specific valve to a specific tractor from generic valve sources. You need to match the valve style (OC, CC, CCLS) to your tractors system, match the GPM capability of the valve to your tractor's pump spec, and choose a mounting and control style that fits the needs of your installation (valve mounted joystick, joystick with cable control, or electronic).

I purchased a 2-Spool Valve Kit for my new Stump Grinder. Upon receipt, I learned it wouldn't work because my source SCV is electronic vs manual. My JD dealer helped me get the grinder hooked-up. Now I have the unused valve kit. Here are the instructions...

What do you want the valve /spools to do.

How many functions do yo need, 1 spool, 2 spools, 3 spools 4 spools. etc.

Will you use it with T-N-T, a hyd motor, DA or SA cyl, Grapple etc?
