Aftermarket FEL Options

After some tough negotiations with the household CFO, I'm thinking about pulling the trigger on a FEL for my BX. Obviously my first option is a genuine Kubota unit from a local dealer. Before I go that route though, I'd like to evaluate some other options.

Questions:

1. What aftermarket mfrs make FELs for subcompacts?
2. What kind of price range might I expect?
3. Are there significant quality or design differences to watch out for?

I don't mind the idea of an aftermarket unit as long as it performs well and is at least as durable as a factory unit. But, if I end up going to my dealer, I'd at least like to have some negotiating room on price.

Any advice?

1. Bushhog, Woods, Koyker, Quickie, Brand X (some Korean brand that my Kubota dealer now sells, can't remember the name), Rhino, Great Bend (now owned by Bushhog), Westerndorf, etc, etc
2. price will vary (Brand X cheaper)
3. yes - check welds, hose routing, specs, mounting/dismounting

I put a Bushhog on my B8200. It works well.

Be prepared for sticker shock; ~$3000 installed

I know I'm spending your money, but maybe consider trade-up to BX2350. Your implements will fit, it will dig better and overall superior machine.

Or even a BX24 if you have any lust for a backhoe
