Aftermarket Cabs help,

Hi everyone

My name is Janet.

My husband has been on here for a little while searching for a new tractor. I have read some of his posts and the replies to them and wanted to thank everyone for helping with their experience and advise. As you know we have purchased a Kioti DK40 and are very happy with it. One exception at least for me. He opted to save the money and buy one without a cab but now I am realizing just how much the cold hurts him when he is out there in the wet and cold especially in winter time ( arthritis ) . SO I have decided to take a look at some alternatives to a factory cab. He has said that a decent one should be between 1500 and 2000 dollars and the other night while I was searching for cabs I found one that covers the operators station and also lets you operate the backhoe from underneath it , It was a soft cab but I forgot to save it in our favorites and now I cant find it to show him. If anyone could help it would be greatly appreciated.

That's definitely not the one I saw. The one I saw was priced way less than that but did have the part that covers the area for the backhoe, It was also all black and you did not see the canopy like you do on that one.

Sorry I can't help you with your cab. Actually I am looking for one for my DK40 so if you find it again.. please post it, it sounds like a nice one.
By the way, you should be able to go back in your web browsers HISTORY (ctrl-H) and see a list of all sites you have visited in the last few days. So you should be able to find the link there, some browser histories go back months.

How many hours are on the tractor?
Would it be worth it at this point to work with the dealer, and try and swap it for a cab model before you get to many hours on it? See what kind of numbers he comes up with??

Probably won't be as good as if you had just got the cab, but stuff happens.

The factory cabs are really nice, and as you can see, the aftermarket ones are just about as much, with no heat, a/c, or stereo.
