I'm looking for a supplier for an aftermarket backhoe bucket for my JD 8B backhoe. I currently have a 12" bucket, which has worked very well at extracting stumps, but is fairly slow at excavating. JD lists part numbers for 12, 18, 24 and 36 inch buckets. Does anyone make interchangeable buckets for this attachment?
I'm inclined to get a 24" bucket, though the material I will be digging on my land is primarily gravel and sand. Has anyone had experience with a 36" bucket on this size (8 1/2') backhoe?
I'm also in need of some bucket teeth for my 12" bucket. The previous owner had a right side digging bias and the right most tooth doesn't want to play very much longer. The JD part number from their online parts lookup is T2A, but their order forms don't recognize it as a part number.
Thanks for any info and also for the thread on tooth bars for loaders. My wallet is going to be getting lighter again
