Advice please on purchase of a Kubota KX040 Excavator

If anyone can give me some advice of a new old stock KX040 2016 model. It has 30 hours, a 24" bucket, hydraulic 2 way tilt Blade, Hydraulic Thumb, Mechanical Quick attach bucket, Cab with a/c and heat. I was offered a finance price of $52,400 or a cash price of $50,000. Is this a good price that I should buy now or better off to wait til next year? Not sure when new models come out. I am on the fence as I will not use it much in the winter months. Anyone with a KX040 do you like it? Any problems? Thanks for any comments.

Not sure on the price, I have a KX91 (the little brother of what you are looking at) and love it. Bought it with 232 hrs and now have 340 on it a year later. We use it a lot, 30 minutes here, 20 minutes there, best thing is it is always there when I want it. Sometime just use it to load logs, may take 10 minutes but makes the job 100 times easier!

Sounds like a good price. Especially with the cab. I bought the KX121 that the 040 replaces and I can do so much work with it. I paid 40K with about a 1000 hrs on it.

I would find it hard to find one at a better price! You said tilt on the blade which means it is the six way and for what you have listed it has a retail price of over 70,000 new!! When did or does the warranty start?
