A $1400 box store mower will handle 2 acres with ease for years. If you want a bit more, look into the heavier duty LGT's that you can add implements to. A blade and dump cart will handle most anything you need in 2 acres. You could also get one of those johnny buckets if you need some small loader capacity (mulch?). A decent heavier LGT, or a box store ZTR, will cost you $2500-3000. For that money the tractor would serve you better in the long run. All a ZTR can do is cut grass...
