Good Day Folks. I scored pretty well locating a front mount JD 359 Snow Blower. With It I received the front electric PTO clutch, PTO switch, lift and support arms, and front attachment drive. I believe I have everything I need to get this up and running except for the wiring harness that runs from the PTO engagement switch to the front PTO electric clutch/PTO.
Which leads to my first question. When I attached the switch to the dash I did not see a wiring harness to attach the switch too. So, if it ain't there it ain't there. I can't imagine I missed it. So that I will need to purchase or make. JD's online parts search shows the wiring harness as item 11, Part Number AR102742.
My second question, do I need the following item? On JD's website looking at the parts list there is a switch. It is item 5, Part Number AR102744. I found the item on eBay. NOS John Deere Front PTO Interlock Switch AR1 2744 Fits 65 75 for sale online. It is described as a PTO interlock switch.
My last question is. Any idea what the wire is that is sticking out on the left side of the tractor. I circled it in red. The leads are red and black. I was hoping that it is for the front electric PTO clutch.
