Adjustment bolt on front of front axle pivot point on 3510

I noticed the bolt and jamb nut sticking out the front of front axle pivot point on my 3510. My questions are ,1 what does it do? (I'm assuming it holds the pivot rod in place or back). 2 Where or how tight should it be adjusted too?

Someone else just asked the same question in the past few days but I couldn't find the thread. There is a stop bolt for when you turn your wheels full right or full left. It prevents the wheels from being turned too far left or right. If you turn your wheel full lock you'll see where it hits.
If the bolt your talking about faces the axle itself it may be the stop bolt the prevents the axle from moving too much fore and aft.
Maybe post a pic to show which it is.

If you're talking about the large bolt & nut in the center of the front axle assy, it is for adjusting clearance at the pivot as the bushings wear. I forgot what the clearance range is on my 4110, haven't checked it in awhile. If you keep it greased heavily like I have over the years it won't wear that quickly and can stand a little extra slop. You have to get the wheels off the ground to let the axle swing and check it with a feeler gauge.

George 2615, I believe I seen the thread that you are referring to. And "yes" I wish I would have a pic to post but I just thought of it while I was on this site, but my 3510 is over at my brothers and it is 21 degrees out. "Sorry" but no pic tonight. Maybe tomorrow. But I really do appreciate the response. This bolt is dead center on the front axle and I think SKIPMARCY is on the right track. Thank you SKIPMARCY. I will try and have a pic for my next post.
