Enjoying my new DK40 HST.

Today i hooked up the flail mower to cut the fields. On my prior CK25 I could cut grass pretty close. I have a problem with the DK40. The flail is adjusted to cut at its lowest position but it is riding a few inches off the ground. i have MLS to fast setting and the float is full in. in spite of this I cannot get lift arms to lower any more.

Is there some type of simple adjustment I can make? it may be a warranty issue but my dealer 60 miles away and i do not have a trailer.

The lift arms do raise and lower but they do not seem to lower as much as i would like.

I wouldn't imagine going from the CK25 to the DK 40 should matter or am I wrong. Is it possible my mower is not compatible with my DK40?

The mower is a Caroni TL1500 FSC and I got a nice close cut with the CK25.

Any help is appreciated.

Either adjust your toplink and/or change which hole the top link is in on the tractor.

IS any part of the mower at all touching the ground?

Lift links might have holes to lower, if not the lower links have holes and you change holes in or out to move the lower links up or down.
