I don't think so. I just bought a 2042 and it's adjustable. I went to CC website. the 2042 shows the seat as adjustable 6 positions....but on the 1042 and 1046 it just reads cub cadet seat.
I just don't remember and I did look at the 1046 when I was at the dealer on Saturday when I bought my 2042 but had my mind on the 2042 so I really didn't pay attention
I have a new LT1050, and the 1000 series seat can be adjusted forward and backwards, but that's it. I'm 6'4", and sliding the seat all the way back gives me room enough to be comfortable.
