I've noticed that over the past few days that the parking brake on my BX24 will sometimes disengage between the time I park it and the next time I return to the tractor. It seems that the pedal is extra sensitive lately, and if a grasshopper hops onto the pedal, it's enough to make the pedal pop up now. Is there an adjustment for the linkage that holds that pedal down when you engage the parking brake?

Adjust the brake like the manual says. The "free play" is set and the brake will have a certain amount of "tension" when you set the lock. If it is not set correct, you will either have alot of tension, or like yours, not enough.

Thank you Deano. I guess checking the manual is a good idea, huh? :ashamed:
