Adding Rear Remotes On A L3130

Hello All
I want to add on 2 sets of remotes on my L3130. I was at the dealer and was quoted about $1500 for just 1 set of remotes (parts only). This seems way outta line? Does anyone offer any aftermarket kits? I'd prefer the factory setup but the price is a problem.

I could probably do with just 1 set of remotes but figured if I was going to install one I might be sorry later if I didn't add the second.

I want to use the remotes for my hay rake and maybe my JD sickle bar. I have a Kubota 9540 and with fuel prices it seem wastefull to use the big tractor for smaller utility work. Plus it frees up the 9540 for just the haybine & baler.

I own a machine shop and can make just about anything I would need to install a universal kit.

That is about right, very pricy. You could make the plate you will need to tap into the hydraulic system, but I would check with the tractor salvages. Check at this link.

Based on the price when I bought my L3130 (2.5 years ago) w/3 remotes, the the install kit and first valve kit was about $600 list, the second valve kit was about $400. I got 3 for just over $1300 with tractor setup. I would hold the dealer's feet to the fire.

Now that seem like a reasonable price. If I could get that price here I'd buy it in a minute. I'll call the dealer in Kentucky where I bought my 9540 and see what he can get it to me for.

How similar is the L3130 to an L2800 or L3400? I just installed 4 remotes on my L3400 for about $475 using Prince stack valves and hoses/fittings from my local shop.
Tapped into the PBY on the FEL and mounted the valves on my ROPS. Real easy set up.

I just priced a set for the L3940, it was $850 with labor but not pick and delivery of the tractor. That was for one set with Float option.
