Hi all,

I have a lambo Runner 450 that is a great little tractor, but the loader (Allied Buhler) runs off the rear remotes. I would like to plumb in a loader valve so I can run the rear blower rotation and chute angle off the remotes. I can't for the life of me find any information on plumbing a power beyond on this tractor. There is a hose that runs between the hydraulic pump and the steering valve, that I could tap into, but then it would be loader priority and I would prefer steering priority. My manual doesn't provide much information and I can't find anything on the web. I guess maybe loader priority isn't so bad?

Anyone have a similar tractor and can see how the lines are set up?

Thanks!

Wow! I never thought in a million years I would get a reply that good, that quick!

My machine has a single pump with 4 rear remotes (2 circuits). It looks to be identical to yours (except I have a cab which makes everything nearly impossible to get at!)

Can you tell me how you did it? I can't figure it out by looking at the photos. I'll try and find the whole thread (not just that post).

THANKS!!

Reroute from the steering "out port" to the NEW three spool "Lamborghini" loader valve. Thus preserving the steering priority. (That little bit of piping has a tough bend at the steering box. I spoiled a couple of pieces of tubing getting it right).
A second line from the loader valve PB port to the 3pt hydraulic port.

Then add a third line for "return to tank" from the loader valve to the transmission case left side. The line crosses under just at the engine, transmission joint.

Lifting off that top hamper will be a job in it's self. I really enjoy having the loader controls done in a more agreeable way, and the rear remotes are now readily available. .

Peruse the hydraulics forum as well during the same time period (or search my name as poster) A lot of great help came from members here! (even if the SAME, Lamborghini & Hurlimann marque is not well known ;-)

Got it, I understand completely now. I found all your threads and they make perfect sense. This was the way I wanted to approach the problem, but I wasn't sure if there was an easier way. I see you found an easy case drain, too. That's a real bonus!

Unfortunately mine has a Brieda cab. That cab is the worst thing ever. You can't get at anything without a substantial amount of disassembly, and I don't think the top fitting that is located directly under the driver's seat is accessible any other way. I am going to poke around and see if I can access that fitting.

I am impressed by those hard lines! Do you remember the sizes? With the cab and where I wanted to locate the loader valve, hard lines would be nearly impossible, or I might have to go hybrid, steel to a fitting and rubber from there.

This is very encouraging! I really like this little tractor, compact, strong. Does yours have the air cooled engine or the Mitsubishi 4 cyl? The only difference I can see is that your ignition key is located in a different spot...

Tapping into the steering column is the gating operation. There may be a way to access the fitting by removing the console plastic, But the metal "tunnel" had to come off for the way I did the plumbing. There may be another way!

All the fittings used were common 1/2" as I recall. I've got a generous assortment "left over". ;-) I can't stand holding up build progress over some inexpensive piece of hardware if I can help it.

The Hurlimann has the 1.5 L Mits. engine, No turbo however. It's a great little tractor! That locking diff front axle has saved the day on several occasions.

I thought about locating the valve under the off side foot board and using the cable actuated joystick, But read of reports of those freezing up with wet and cold. A normal condition here. So I went simple and direct.

Also tossed about was the idea to tap one of the present remotes and then tie the operation lever open. That would give one rear remote, An electric third function could give the blower controls you desire.

Yes, they definitely are little tanks with the front diff lock!

I am not very familiar with hydraulic hard lines - are these 37 degree JIC flare fittings?

Using one of the remotes would be a lot simpler - One of the spools even has a detent, so it would be an easy installation, but I think having the pair of rear remotes would be very useful. I have a few grading implements that would benefit from some cylinder actuation.

I'll look at this closer when I have it in the shop at the next opportunity. Thanks!

On a related note, your machine has an Allied Buhler 195 loader. Mine has a 95 model, which is too small. How do you like the 195? Do you feel it's a good match for the machine? Do you think a 295 would be too much? I am thinking about upgrading it, and 295s seem to be much more common on the used market.

Late to the party...

The 195 is a very good match

The bucket is a bit small for light materials such as snow, but a full load of soil is a full load.

The operating time is somewhat slow. Tipping a bucket gets annoying when movine snow (back to bucket size ;-)

I find visibility over a low bucket just fine, Over a high bucket is great, but I have trees and uneven lands that suggest against a high carry.

I can not comment on the 295, never seeing one. I will say the 195 "looks right" and will lift the back end of the tractor off the ground.

eta

Does Allied offer frame kits for the 295" That would give you an idea if the size were appropriate.

Thanks for the reply. They don't offer a 295 loader option, only the 195. The Deutz Fahr 1950 loader that comes stock on the newer Agrokids is rated at nearly a ton of lifting capacity, and the allied 195 is only rated for 1200 lbs, so I thought I might be better off going a bit bigger. The 95 I have now is supposed to be rated at 500 lbs and I routinely lift more than that, so it could be that the Allied loaders are rated conservatively. I'm not in a big rush to upgrade, but if one comes my way I will pull the trigger.
