i have a kubot 7040sud it is low on rear fluid hydro oil what brand other then kubota can i use without voiding the warrenty the kubota brands to expensive for me to run 45 mins to the closes dealer for a quart of hydro oil

Tractor Supply Center (TSC) carries a Travelers brand that states it meets Kubota specs at around $50 for 5 gal...2 gals were $23.

i need about a quart i only hope its not dry if it is its going to dealer its under warrenty

IMHO.. on a warranty based machine.. I'd go with oem fluids.. just because.

it's usually not hard to stock some of what a machine needs to eat. I generally like to keep at least 5g of utf fluid on hand.. and 5g of gear oil.. and 3-4 gallons of engine oil on hand at any one time.

i surely would not buy utf oil by the quart. I don't even like buying it by gallon or 2 gallon.. too expensive that way.

Most of this only meets UDT not SUDT
