Adding a step on the right side of a CK2610

DKs actually have less niceties and options stock from what I saw (cabs get you all kinds of nice add-ons, for all models). They are a heavier tractor so leave stuff out so the price jump isn't as bad. I do sometimes wish for a right-side step as well.

But hey, my CK SE came with a floor mat

When I was shopping tractors the CK10SE series had all kinds of goodies... dual rear remotes, floor mat, telescoping link kit. On the other hand, the DK4510 was only about a $1,000 more than the CK4010SE. I was able to add the same goodies onto the DK for a couple thousand.

I think the DK45 had more features than the DK4510 series.

unclesalty-Can you post a picture of the mounting location of the step you have on the right side of your CK2610?

I’m confused on this. My dealer said (as of yesterday) there is no right-hand step available, and claimed to have discussed with the Kioti Rep. Here’s a picture of my right-side frame, and there are no holes that I can see to mount a step in a similar fashion to how the left side is done.

Did the frame change on the latest models? Mine is a 2019.

There's a square bar up under the deck lip on mine, the same as the other side with the same 4 step mounting holes. 2020/2021 model, so there was probably some change from 2019 to 2020.

My CK25 came with steps on both sides and the floor mat but I only have 1 cup holder, but I mostly use it to put my phone in so I don't run it over..................................again.

This is the same configuration on my 2018 CK3510SE HST. Here are three more pics of my add-on right side step, from slightly different angles. Toukow, it looks like the set-up on your 2019 CK2610HST is indeed different from Midniteoyl's and my CK3510SE HST models. So it could a matter of frame size. Or maybe the SE designation, though I think that's less likely. But, then, Unclesalty just bought a CK2610HST, and the dealer was able to add a step. Maybe an older model-year? I've just assumed it's a late model. Hopefully he can post a pic of his right-side step set-up and solve this mystery.

Thanks for the education. I had always had taken the passing comments that the 3510 and 2610 were the same tractor, except engine size. I guess there are other differences as well. If my list of 'to do's' gets too low, I'll consider trying to fabricate something for mine. Thanks, Toukow
