Adding a Power Beyond to a 445 J D

I have a John Deere 445 which I would like to add a power beyond valve. This would be to operate a rear mounted dual stage clyinder.
What I am wondering is this. My 445 has an integral hyd. system which is powered from the hydrostatic transmission.

Is this type of mod acceptable? Or would I be best to leave well enough alone.
If it is possible could somebody help me out with the hookups. I have a John Deere service manual for this tractor.

I know it can be very expensive if not done properly, your Ideas are most welcome.

Ok the system is an open center 2 spool valve. Oil flowing through back to tank. Unless blocked by the spool in use.
I would like to know if I can send the return oil to another spool (open center) return to tank as per the same way as the OEM valve?

You do not have a lot to work with.

Do you have any hyd ports that you can obtain a hyd supply?


Are you interested in a hyd source for a BH, or a remote valve?

I'm just running another valve to bring two additional ports to the rear of the machine. I think I've got it figgered out. The hydraulic system has the main relief valve in the hydrostatic houseing. So I'm going to run the valve in series with the first one. The second one will supply all return oil back to tank. Of course the priorty will be with the first valve, Which won't be a problem as the second valve will only operate rear mounted tools such as a log grapple. I still want to be able to use the blade as required from time to time when skidding logs. If you see an issue with this let me know.
