Actually I run them both, but those weak, 'get-me-home' headlamps on the tractor were simply not enough for plowing snow.

These are 27 watt ones I got off Ebay.

You can see the difference by looking at the inside of the radiator guard, white vs. yellow light.

This is what the snow will see when I get after it. I do not have to deal with traffic, so I am not concerned about going down the road. I assume many of you have already done something similar, but this was my way. Cheers.

Interesting mod. May look into that, but have not felt the factory lights on the 4300 were a problem.
Not even after I put some protection in front of them (which was a concern).

Serious improvement, there!

I need some help with light at the rear of my 4720. Got lot's of darkness up here in the winter time and lights are pretty critical to operate safely.

Just over 50 watts is something, too! Timely post, thanks.

Thanks guys... Grainger the lamps are Ebay item #390973735297 ...<$20 with free shipping. (I have paid as much for fancy halogen bulbs for my car)

AK.. Actually I did the rear light first. The 1070 had a basic white lamp there. I simply cut the connector off the JD lamp and used it with this LED.

The camera was confused (no flash) so this shot is not so good, but the lamp works well here also.

.....and before I put on the round lamps, I tried these rectangular ones - eh-eh - not enough light. I was thinking of making 'front side lamps'...?
