Added a 24" thumb to my 8620 hoe

I bought a Titan 24" weld on thumb for my 8620, got it installed yesterday. Seems to be very strong and the perfect size. Ill be getting a lot of use out of this thing soon!

Grabs and holds.. Good for solid objects like logs and rocks..

yes,exactly. But manual thumbs can be put on a bh as the bucket moves and can 'squish' the load against the thumb without having to add additional hydraulics like you do for a grapple.

Hydraulic thumbs are available and are nicer and more controllable but manual versions are big sellers because of the simplicity and price.

How long did it take before they shipped?

Never mind. I ordered the 36" on Thursday morning and it arrived today. Didn't get a shipping notification until today and it said delivery on the 16th. Go figure?

This is one heavy hunk of metal for $215 shipped.

Didn't know anybody replied. Glad yours showed up, they are usually good about quick shipping.

Used it a lot this weekend moving heavy rocks as I cleared for an uphill road to put in a water tank. I'll post pics later, worked beautifully.
