Add valve section to mini excavator Kubota KH 66

Hello, I'm trying to add a sectional valve to my old Kubota excavator to run a hydraulic thumb off of it. It being so old, all the valve controls are mechanical, and I would like to have an electronic control on one of the sticks for the thumb. I imagine a solenoid actuated valve would make a nice retrofit.

The service manual says the valves at Husco 5000 series valves. Looks like Husco still makes this series of valves, and ones that are solenoid operated (page 14 of this pdf https://www.ontrium.com/get.aspx?id=1372285). Looks like part number would be 5002-a1156, and I'll need to get longer tie rods for the assembly. Am I missing anything here?

I dont think your missing anything. I have a kh41 and it came plumbed for a thumb. It uses a foot pedal on the right side for the aux and boom pivot.

Thanks for the input. I might just go with a manual spool valve and figure out a way to rig a lever. Pricing for a solenoid operated husco section valve is $1000 + 4months lead time.
