Adapting chassis cab flatbed to pickup

Have you figured out how you are going to handle the fuel fill? Mounting flat beds low can be problematic in that area. Namely if you do not have the height and angle correct they don't like taking fuel.

Are you basically suggesting running the one and a half by three sistered to the sills of the flatbed, effectively making it wider?

I had a chassis cab bed on my GMC dually that had channel sistered onto the rails to make it wide enough to fit the frame of the truck. In fact I have seen it done several times and works well.
