Actual width of 16 ft farm gate?

I learned the hard way after setting several H braced posts prior to buying gates from a maker that I had not worked with before that there can be regional differences. Mostly I use the box style latch so the gates swing both ways and are well supported when closed. I buy my gates ahead of time now.

Hmm, I posted on this yesterday and it's not here for some reason...
I ran it through the gate calculator for 1.625" tube farm gates and it would be 187.75" wide. That leaves 4.25" for standard gate hinges and a latch.

I recently measured a 6 foot gate that I have,,,

71" to the center of the hinge hole,,,

I also measured a 4 foot gate,, Similar, 47" to the hinge hole,,,
