I haven't trusted mapquest ever since thier directions took me down ever narrowing roads until it turned down a farm lane that ended in a someone's barn instead of Mammoth Cave.

That was actually probably just as well. When we went to Mammoth Cave, they informed us that we had to have reservations in advance so we couldn't take the tour that day. So I asked if I could make reservations for the next day and they told that I couldn't make reservations in person; had to do it via telephone from some other location, and they didn't know whether they would be booked up for the next day or not.
So we've never been through Mammoth Cave.I've been through Carlsbad Caverns in 1958, 1961, and 1969. Never had to have reservations; just showed up and took the tour.
Maybe it's because they've got so many more people back east than we have out west.

That's pretty far to go for gas, Moss...
What I want Mapquest to do is to let me drag-n-drop the prices from the cheapest place to the closest gas station to my house. Now, that would be a powerful application.

They had one gas station listed as another with the price a week old, they had another gas station listed as 10 miles away from me when it is actually 40 miles away. Other than that, right on.

Jim you can do that! It's just that when you acutally go the the station they don't honor your drags and clicks.
