I have an old JD 300 loader backhoe. I have a welding business and do mostly ornamental work, but have done much maintenance and repair over the years. I did a big job on this old hoe, and when presented with the bill was told I could wait for my money, or give him a little and own it, as the owner couldn't pay and was going to have to sell it anyway.
I've been having a great time doing projects around the property, (and, a little damage). Heck, it's way more fun than going to the beach and you almost never get sand in your underwear.
But, the old girl really needs a rebuild. I figure if I do it now and take it easy on her she'll outlast me. I love free advice and I'm looking forward to having a good time in this forum.
