After a good bit of research here and other places I have narrowed it down to a CR45 from CCI. They have been very helpful with the various questions I have had.
Should be ordering it sometime next week or the beginning of the following week.
We have a garden that is about 30 by 35 or so. Also I till one of our neighbors gardens as well.
I have used the JD 48" tiller in the past (rental) with excellent results (except that the tiller weighed a ton) and the rental shop I used in the past bought new tillers and went up to 50" and I could not fit the darn thing in my trailer LOL.
Some things that were a challenge with this tractor is finding a tiller that has a good distance between the gear box shaft locking slot and the lift arm pins. The tractor above pretty much fits the bill with about 9 or 12" distance. Most others were 5 to 6" Which just would not allow enough safe cutting of the PTO shaft unless you used a shear bolt shaft. I really prefer using a slip clutch setup because I quickly went through bolts using the PTO shaft I have with the JD tiller.
This spring I went back to using my walk behind and that got old real quick not to mention the fact that the tilled ground just does not look as nice and it brought the rocks to the surface again.
