Hi, All i have a cement mixer i was wondering if my remote valve could work the single acting cylinder i have on the mixer, i have two ports on the back of my tractor i was wondering can i just use one to work the cylinder on the mixer?

Yes, you can use just one of the 2 work ports on your valve, but it is not
ideal. I did it that way when I first got a MIXER80 for my 3-pt. The
single-acting cylinder depends on gravity to dump, and it did not always
work. I converted to a double-acting cyl by simply converting the
breather to a hose fitting.

If you DO operate the valve with just one hose connected, the relief
valve will operate briefly while the cylinder dumps.
