Spreader ABI classic 50 ground drive spreaders

My 60-70 yr old JD manure spreader is about to become a planterbox. I am looking at the ABI classic ground drive spreader. Anyone know anything about the manufacturer or have experience with their ground drive manure spreaders? Also, any idea what the "take" price is? if there is a better spreader for about the same price I'm all ears as well.

Turning once again to the professionals for answers as I am at best a beginning gentleman farmer/rancher.
