Abandoned newborn

/ Abandoned newborn #11
A few yeara back we found a new born that the mother had in a large fire ant bed. We called the game warden and he said thet have a lot of them and the mother can,t take care of them the fire ants kill them. We picked it up doctored the several hundred bites on its head fed it some special milk and kept it till it was grown never pined it just stayed at or in the house whereever it wonted to be... It never missed in the house would go out side to do its thing..She finely left with a group of her on. She was one of the best animals we ever had.

I know it's just nature but I HATE fire ants!!!

I was out at my property Thursday and while doing some work I walked close to a pile of logs from some trees I pulled down where I put in a pond. When I got close, I heard something banging/clacking against the logs. Next thing I know, a spot is running down the road away from me. It had been hiding between a couple of logs, lying on the grass. Later I was working in another area but not too far away. I just happened to catch a glimpse of the spot working it's way back to the general area of the log pile. It never did go back to the log pile (unless it did after I left) but I guess it wanted to be in the general area to get back together with mom.

I'm headed up to my country property in the moning and I'll be up there for a week. Hopefully no hair will be seen where the little one was hiding, I'll be in touch. HAVE A SAFE memorial weekend and remember what it signifies...
