So I am officially no longer Tractorless.

So now how do we communicate with you on TBN since your login is no longer true? /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Congratulations! How many hours have you put on it? I suspect you'll be wanting to give it the 50 hour service pretty soon /forums/images/graemlins/laugh.gif.

If you are at all mechanically inclined, BTW, I'd suggest picking up the shop manual for that thing and doing your own maintenance. It isn't hard, doesn't take all that much time (you can do the full 50 hr service in an afternoon), and if you do it yourself you'll know it was done right (no loose bolts or anything - hopefully /forums/images/graemlins/crazy.gif). The only thing is that you'll generate lots of waste fluids between the hydraulics and the oil.

Have fun with it...

Where can we get a shop manual for the BX2200, and for how much?

Thanks,

Your dealer can order it for you. Or you can find it online through one of the places that sells parts. I think I paid around $30 for mine - but it was a while back so I don't really remember. It isn't super expensive, though, and will pay for itself the first time you do your own service.

All you get are the loose leaves of the pages. Have to provide your own binder /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif. And there are interesting translations from Japanese to English in it... /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

For some reason, I get a kick out of the title: "WorkShop Manual Tractor". /forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif

Thanks Chris. Did you get a parts list as well? I think I saw in an old thread that Bird recommended the two as being complimentary. Let's see, if and when I get my BX2200, I'll need to order the two manuals and a toothbar. Guess I need a needle attachment for my greasegun? Anything else you guys can think of I'd need to service properly? I bought one of those 15 quart recycle oil drainer thingys to put the fluid in and, hopefully, carry to Auto Zone for disposal....Got a flexible funnel. Anything else?? /forums/images/graemlins/tongue.gif /forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif

Thanks,

I didn't get a parts list, but TractorSmart has them online. Here's the one for the BX2200 and loader.

Let me know if you can get AutoZone to take the hydraulic fluid. I tried to get my Napa place to take it and they wouldn't. Fortunately, it burns /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif...

I don't know if it matters, but the grass catcher manual in the link isn't the correct one for the BX's. It is a GCK60-BX catcher for the BX1800 and 2200 units. Even the Kubota website has the wrong part number on grass catcher under the implements for the BX.

Chris forgot to say thanks for this link. These will be very handy.

Sorry about that. I don't know the specifics for the BX - I was just "winging" the page. Hopefully it was close enough to be useful...

You're quite welcome and I hope that they help. /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif

Thanks for the links! I bought the WSM for my BX2200 from the dealer ($76 plus shipping) /forums/images/graemlins/frown.gif but didn't buy the parts lists. Now I can print them out and probably save another $76 over buying them.
