I believe I have posted pictures of my little home-built before but this weekend my grandson came in and did a video of our build to go along an account of the drive system and some of it's features. The link is towards the end of the write up. I in particular would like to share how we used a 5 speed trans-axle with welded spiders to shorten the length of the drive train and gear everything down nicely. Been on the road for 25 some years without any trouble to speak of.

I might add for some reason the video linked to often starts 30 seconds or so into the video. If you go back to the start there are some points made explaining the drive train layout which help explain the use of the trans-axle and welding its spider gears.

A two seat tractor is the best part, this have steering brakes to stop wheel slip?
