A well-made, bolt-on tooth bar?

I had to return a toothbar because the shanks were mismatched ad grossly misaligned, among other issues. It was obvoiously welded up without care exhibiting very poor workmanship and fit. Can anyone recommend a toothbar that's made with some pride? I thought I was paying a fair price for a USA-made piece but what I got looked like something from HF that would've cost a third what I paid.

What brand did you get that you were unhappy with? I am thinking of getting one and would rather not get one if the manufacturer has low standards.

I have no Idea what tractor you have, or what you are doing with your toothbar.

But with that said..........I got the Pirhana Toothbar from BXpanded. It is great for cutting off brush just below ground level..........will cut invasive bushes in half(to thin them). Doesn't do great at digging in hard soil, but is better that a flat bucket edge.

They make toothbars for most any bucket, just give them a call with your measurements.

I agree......the Piranha is a great bar.....good people to deal with.....well made......can customize for any tractor bucket.....I have not removed mine since buying.....

As others have suggested WR Long makes a good product but i could not find one that they made for a bucket with a bolt on cutting edge.
So went I with Construction Attachments and am very pleased. I have a set of their 5500 lb forged pallet forks and found them to be good quality. This made the decision to buy the tooth bar easy Construction Attachments X-treme Duty Extended Tooth Bar

I had a tooth bar for the skid steer that was fabbed up very well. Good welds, straight, everything looked good (probably roboticly welded). The problem was the design, the shanks on the end teeth were hollow and after three broken teeth, I gave up and bought a tooth bucket. It was a Deere toothbar. I mention this to point out that design is also important.

It's not a bold-on cutting edge type bar I need, just a type that bolts to the sides of the bucket. I have an MX5100 with LA844 and QD bucket.

What I'm looking for is a bar that has fairly tight fit of the shank pockets to the cutting edge of my bucket. The bar I'm sending back only had 2 of 8 teeth contacting the bucket cutting edge and the rest were about an inch out. That wouldn't have distributed the load to the bar very well placing most of the force on the two shank contact points and the bolts on the sides of the bucket. Also, the shanks on the bottom would've grabbed and jammed all kind of vegetation in there when doing clearing work and back grading.

Any other makes besides ETA and Long? The Pirahanna design neat but not for me.
