That is my little girl. Thought some of you out there would get a kick out of it. I was so proud she was actually taking scoops, swinging the boom and dumping. We used it to bury her goldfish.

Wow, and I thought I came up with good excuses to use the tractor!

Cheers

Actually, I thought a dead gold fish was sushi, but I don't get out much.

Really cute picture; spend all the time you can with kids and teach them to work and it will really help them in the future not to mention the "free" labor.

Well my two girls are much older than yours so from experience cherish it and have her work with you as much as possible. You both will cherish it as time moves on. But do use seat belt.

mr bruiser: nice take. she'll remember this for a lifetime. I too had my daughter doing stuff on my 'ol massey......man, I'm thankful nothing happened...... I now think I pushed the danger limit a bit too far in trying to be her lovin' dad ...............just be careful in the spirit of the occasion, we only go down this path once. glad you're celebrating her youth bb

Cute kid.
I don't have my backhoe on much lately so I haven't had a chance to try my daughter out on it yet.

cute! :D bruiser- you should be proud as well. (now you gotta fend off the safety police - no seat belt used. I probably would have done the same thing with low rpms.)

They are there for a real reason. Too many cases posted just here. I do think a child can be trained and but it is up to us to keep them safe.

Wicked cute photo! I can tell you from experience some of my fondest memories are when my dad would drive me around on the back of our 8n when we were building our house.

Great picture-love the "determined" look on her face. I can undeerstand your justifiable pride, as the best times of my life (and thankfully there have been many) have been spent with my children and now with my grandchildren.

Yes a very cute photo indeed and would have enjoyed it more if it was stated that the tractor was static - however being around construction and contractors all my life I have seen what TLB's are capable of even when operated by professionals. I for one dont think a child "operating" one (no matter how small the machine) is prudent.

I love it! Coincidentally, when I got home from work today, my 3 year old daughter said something like, "Daddy, I want to go on the tractor into the woods and dig holes with you." These are the pictures I took:

That little tractor looks huge with the scaled down operator!
Great pics! Enjoy!
