A present on my mailbox this morning......

When I was leaving for work this morning at about 6:25 (OK, I know I was running late /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif). I happened to look down the driveway at our mailbox across the road. There was something on it /forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif, from that far away it kinda looked like a towel or something hanging on it. As I walk closer somebody had drapped a T-Shirt over the top and front of our mailbox. It is a white F-O-T-L with an American Flag on the front and the words GOD BLESS AMERICA on the back. Too bad on the back there is a little bit of dirt or something - probably from the mailbox since I haven't wash it this week

. Where this came from I have know idea. Maybe it is our "reward" for being patriotic?? We have a 20' flag pole out front, a colonial style flag hanging from our deck, 2 patriotic bunting flags hanging on the side of the deck, and a light-up flag in our picture window. Thought it was kinda neat, wish I would've gotten a picture, but like I said was running late.

the last 20 years a good friend of mine who is a caldwell banker realty shop, has everyone who works for her and a lot of volunteers go out in 5 surrounding towns placing flags in front of everyones property. Flag day, she gets a lot of referrals jsut for this yearly manuever.. Of course each one (some kind of plastic that holds up to rain) has a business card attached, your local town and country caldwell banker realtor.. Perhps it is a similar situation for you..
