I don't really care for the duals, I figure they're using them for stability in the mountains but the inside singles look much wider than what you can get here in the US. I wish I could understand what they're saying in the video.

M7040 operators manual states no dual rear wheels are approved on page #46

Well that was pretty cool! Noticed a lot of small differences between my M7040 and the one in the video - not including the HUGE footprint of course!

The inside tires may be R1W's

I can translate. The Alpin M7040 is a narrow model with duals for the Austrian market. Kubota worked with an Austrian company Esch Technik to develop the duals for stability in steep alpine meadows. Kubota's guarantee for the tractor is a 3 year one and the cab model costs Euro 44K ($56K) and with the duals another Euro 20K or a total of $82K. The duals can be pulled off in the winter so you can do other chores around the "Hof" (barnyard) like clearing snow, etc...
Check out (ESCH-Technik Maschinenhandels GmbH - Esch-Technik Maschinenhandelsgesellschaft m.b.H.) Their web site has some more interesting videos of tractors we can't buy in PA!
