Greetings all.
New to the group, and new to tractors.*
I just inherited my Dad's mid-90s Ford 1920 SSS. It has been sitting for about the last ten*years, but was moved across the property about a year ago. So I don't know much about it, but I do know it runs. Low hours, too. Unfortunately, it sat out with the bucket upright and holding water, so it rusted*through. And the rear rims are rusted out around the valve stems, from the calcium.*So I'm planning to give it a lot of TLC, and work on getting it up and running well again.
Looking forward to tapping into the group knowledge here, and learning from you all.
Thank you,

Welcome to TBN. It's very good that you inherited your father's tractor, it looks like it's got a lot still good about it, a little work, some paint etc. and you're good to go. Post pictures during the project.

I bought a 1000 hour Ford 1920 about 5 years ago in Ottsville, PA., and hauled it to Eastern MA.
It looked good, but had some issues.

I have gone completely through mine (except for engine), and it now looks like new.
The 1920 just might be the best (simple) compact tractor ever built.
There are numerous other 1920 owners on TBN who will certainly be willing to offer advice.
Messick's is a wonderful source for parts.
