A little maintenance goes a long ways

This past week end I re-welded some broken welds and did some painting to my Howse 5 foot RC and I think it looks great, now for the braces next weekend

Looks like a great job for sure. Its a lot of fun getting an old piece of equipment back to looking and operating like new.

It certainly looks good. Did you get new Howse decals or just cover the old ones when painting? They look good as new anyway.

You'd never get away with this with a King Kutter. To make a KK look "good as new", you'd have to re-create the rust that forms on them on the dealer's lot.

Good catch, if you look at first picture you will see a can with the top cut off over it, that is my weather guard from rust etc
It has a 1/2 inch grade 5 bolt that has a slight twist to it and it will not come out and I left some of the dents for patina and character
