A LITTLE EARLY, AIN\'T IT?

was out cutting some grass early this evening and looking at the trees, as it it only july 23 i thought this was a bit odd. see pic. a little early for the tips of the leaves to be turning.

here is the same tree but from a different perspective, not the only one changing either, noticed quite a few with redish or yellow tints.

There was something in the local paper a month or so ago that I think talked about this; had to do with some bug infestation that was causing it.

That looks like cicada damage.
