Your work is incredible. Every time I see a post of yours, it reminds me of what a "Jackleg" I am. I have to ask though, why go through this process and expense? I understand not wanting to drill the lift arms but why not weld a couple of studs to them instead? Welding would require a little touch-up paint and the bracket but you did that anyway. The pic looks like an extensive kit and I can't imagine it was cheap (maybe it is ??). Just wondering what the advantage is in this application?

Thank you Darryl but I think your being to hard on yourself. None of us are perfect but all of us can try harder including me. You asked a good question and it's one that I can answer two ways. Yes I could have easily have welded a couple of studs to the FEL arm, painted it and it would have been good. I did it that very way when I did the hydraulic thumb mod on the BX (see attached photo). I welded the hose holders on the boom, painted it and it worked perfectly and I'm very happy with it.

With this mod I chose to do it using the Click Bond system for a few reasons.
#1. I had the system on hand in the shop and seen an opportunity to use it. All was involved was to scuff off a little paint, apply the Click Bond studs and within an hour complete the job. It's nice and neat with no heat (hey, that rhymes)
#2. Not everyone can weld and by me showing how I used the Click Bond system it will give other forum members an alternative way to get the job done with out having to weld.

Click Bond to me means a new modern approach to a never ending problem of how to attach things to basically anything. It's strong, reliable, long lasting and can be removed IF I ever wanted to remove it. It's an invaluable tool in the shop and by using it in my mods I can show others that there's an alternative to welding. As for the pricing of it. I seldom mention pricing because I live on an island out in the middle of the North Atlantic where no mater what you purchase it's twice as much as mainlanders would pay.

Thanks again for your kind words and great question. I hope I've explained my answer well.
