Hey, everyone!
I came to learn about TbyN after Googling a few questions and seeing the comments/answers threads that then came up. I did so again this morning, and figured that it was past time to join up.
We're really "hobby farmers", newly started. We own 18 acres, and recently moved into a 100 year-old farmhouse that was the only home we could see from our little property. Spent 16 weeks renovating it, and just love it!
Equipment-wise, I first bought a 1988 Massey Ferguson 360, and a Hardee 1060 bush hog to help in clearing much of the property. It worked great, but with fairly sandy soil, the 2WD bogged down a lot. It's for sale now. I got a much smaller Kubota L3240 4WD and absolutely love it. If there's a more perfect compact tractor out there, I haven't found it yet. We also have a subcompact Deere, more for around the house with its 3 acres.
Looking forward to spending some time here!
