My vote would be a bolt on tooth bar. I have one on my MX5100, and I love it. I have used it to dig up boulders, lift logs and I have used it hard, and no issues. I like the bolt on, as i can remove it and use the blade for snow, dirt grading etc,

I should point out that I would have bought a Piranha Tooth Bar, but the BXpanded website only shows them out to 74 inches and my Mahindra 5555 has a 78 inch bucket. Furthermore, Piranha seems to be brand specific and Mahindra is not mentioned. The 72 inch Ratchet Rake straps or chains around the bucket and should work. I also have a box blade and can use the shanks to break up what little hard pack we have.

They will make anything you need to a custom size, you just need to call and talk to Harry(If I'm not mistaken) and from what I've heard he will set you up and take care of you. Great people to deal with.

You're going to bust something in the loader or tractor before you bust the bucket with a toothbar bolted onto it.

Your tractor capacity is way too small for you to have any of the concerns you're worrying about.

Bolt on a Piranah, use it and don't worry.

That's what I thought...

I'm still going to take my loader to the GET dealer tomorrow morning and see what options they recommend.

After visiting the GET dealer this morning with my loader in tow, I determined that for now, I will go with a tooth bar and not weld on adapters on my current 4ft bucket.

I may be installing a quick attach adapter on the loader arms over the winter and then acquire a smaller/stronger bucket with welded on adapters/teeth for digging and using my current 4ft bucket for moving dirt/soil/gravel/etc... also would like to have a quick attach forks.

So now all I have to decide is Piranha or Agindustry Inc. tooth bar.

Thanks to everyone for their comments.

I bolted my tooth bar on five years ago and really can't think why I would ever want to take it off. Back dragging is done with the heel of the bucket. I prefer the tooth bar over the piranha.

I'll take beauty shots any day of the week.
