A couple of UTVs from the Farm Show

We went to the National Farm Machinary Show in Louisville Kentucky this weekend. I took this first picture for Robert in NY since he has spoke fondly of the Landpride Trekker. Landpride had 4 or 5 Trekkers on display and the one pictured had a very nice cab. Sorry, but I didn't inquire as to price. Montana also had a UTV. It had a small Chinese engine in it. Not surprising since there are quite a number of Chinese UTVs being built. At least I am seeing them on the internet for sale. Cub Cadet had a nice dispay of their UTVs along with a comparison video comparing theirs to the RTV900 and the Gator HPX, not the XUV, but the HPX.

What did you think of the Trekers?

them treckers are pretty decent lookin. so how did they look like up close ?was they made good or made cheaply?

The Trekkers look pretty good. They have always had them up there at the show. I had not been up to the show in 2 years and I have had my Ranger right at 2 years so UTVs were catching my eye more this year than in years past. The Trekker is a good looking machine. The fit and finish is good quality and the suspension, axles, etc look good. The only thing that I didn't find appealing was the plain look of the console. That is just personal taste and wouldn't affect the performance. I really liked the cab on the Trekker. It looked and felt well built, but didn't appear that it would be too pricey. They also had a soft sided cab that looked like everybody elses.

As far as I can remember the following had their UTVs at the show.

Deere
Kubota
Cub Cadet
Land Pride
Montana
Kawasaki
Bob Cat

I don't ever remember Yamaha or Polaris either one ever being there.

The show is amazing and if you ever get a chance to go, do it.

If I recall the Treker is priced considerably cheaper then the others but I can't remember as it has been a few months since I was pricing them.

I am hoping to make it to Empire Farm Days this year where I imagine there will be plenty of UTV's. But hopefully I will have mine before then
